Jonathan Steinberg is an international lawyer whose association with collectables dates back over forty years.

 He has appeared as a collectables expert on Your Money as well as the Smart Money with the Dolans show, Ted David and various other productions on CNBC. He has done viewer call-ins on a variety of collectables subjects. He is the largest and best known international dealer/collector in vintage fountain pens, and has written a large number of articles on this and other subjects.

He was appointed international Editor of Pen World Magazine some years ago and gained world wide acclaim writing editorials for that journal He is also a collectables adviser to USA Today (Dan Dorfman) and Forbes Magazine which did a two page spread on him in their collectables edition some years ago. He has been quoted extensively in such papers as the Wall Street Journal, American Heritage and the Sunday Times. In addition to his appearances on CNBC and WNBC, as well as various radio stations, he has been featured on BBC World Service, which (with an audience of approximately 180 million) is the largest radio station in the world. He is further consulted on collectables segments by cable stations such as CNN and network television stations such as ABC.

He has been appointed to the editorial board of Personal Finance Magazine for which he has written extensively on such diverse topics as wristwatches, pens and collectable cars. In addition, he organises international antiques shows in Milan, New York and Bologna. He was associated with the operation of a selling outlet on Portobello Road in London which is the world’s most famous antique market. This particular outlet had traded continuously since 1916 and was that market’s oldest vendor by over sixty years.
